Turn Your Pajamas Inside-out, It’s Snowing

You know things are on the up and up when your website can’t handle the traffic triggered by offering your band’s latest release for free download.  Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania’s Snowing have been establishing an even, enduring fan base since their formation in the summer of 2008.  Boasting ex-members of Street Smart Cyclist and Boy Problems, they’ve made a matchless mark in the local scene and continue to impress with an unparalleled, fiery fervor that proves to be as infectious as your favorite communicable venereal disease.

Rough riffs, scratchy screams, and frequent f-bombs ensure wanton, warm, fuzzy feelings. Recurrent shoutouts to “Melissa” blur context while keeping things personal.  Intimate insights are shared (“sometimes I get drunk at night”) and plays on words abound (“a minor case of major depression”).  Tender reminiscing of milestones are mentioned and mulled over (“I was 20 when I had my first beer, it was a Miller Lite…and I felt funny when I walked toward the stairs…I thought ‘so this is how alcohol feels'”).  Tunes are catchy without being tiresome, giving you the heightened arousal without the obligatory cuddling later.

Their LP, i could do whatever i wanted if i wanted, will eventually be pressed onto precious vinyl, but in the meantime, the guys are being gracious enough to put out for free.  Once you’re hooked, be sure to round out the catalogue with their equally enticing and inexpensive EP, Fuck Your Emotional Bullshit.   Follow them on tumblr to see when they’ll be melting faces near you.
